Inireklamo ng iilan residente ng isang barangay sa San Antonio, Zambales ang ayuda nilang natanggap dahil sa inaamag na bigas.
Agad naman daw umanong humingi na paumanhin ang Kapitan ng Barangay sa San Miguel na si Fortunato dela Cruz, hindi niya daw alam na inaamag at pinamumugaran na ng mga uod ang bigas na idiniliber ng kanilang supplier. Ayon din sa mga residenteng nakatanggap ng relief goods na mabaho, may uod at meron pang ibang insikto ang bigas kaya hindi na nila kinain.
Itinanggi naman ng Rice Supplier na sira ang bigas na kanilang diniliber, kwento pa nito na pinakiusap pa siya ng Barangay treasurer na patungan ang official receipt. Imbes na P850 kada-sako ang bigas ay pinasulat nito sa resibo na P2,000 sa kadahilan na marami umanong gastusin sa barangay. Mariin naman itong itinanggi ng mga barangay official dahil hindi pa umano sila nabigyan ng resibo.
Ito naman ang sabi na iilan natin mga netizen :
If they purchased 1000 sacks of rice, that would amount to P850K. Now if they had the supplier pad it up to P2k, they can declare that they have spent P2M. So lets say for example the budget allocated to them was P10M, they can say that P2M was deducted from the budget instead of P850K and with that, they can pocket the rest of the P1.05M. Or at least that is what im assuming is happening there... as for the rice... Dear Lord... That is some severe shit going on there.
I would not jump to a conclusion just yet that the barangay's intention was to pocket the difference in price especially when they don't have the cash. Intention is a difficult thing to ascertain. Honestly though, they are in the wrong just for padding the price and can be legally charged.
